The Textloop begins when a brand new college textbook leaves the bookstore shelf. The textbook is studied for the duration of the course. When the course ends, the student (who is now the seller) lists the book on Textloop.com. Students visit Textloop.com and contact the seller to arrange the exchange of the textbook for payment (local transactions can be handled in person, on campus or in a public area near campus. non-local exchanges can handled via USPS COD). The seller sells the textbook at a price higher than what the bookstore pays and the buyer pays less than what the bookstore charges for the used book. This is the Textloop.com Win/Win model. Seller wins, buyer wins.

buyer uses the textloop.com search feature to search used textbook listings. buyer can search listings from his or her own school or schools nationwide,using:

pay less for your college textbooks

from the textbook listing page, buyer can contact seller regarding the textbook for sale. contact is sent to your email address without revealing your email address to the buyer. Sell can also post additional contact options in the listing details (like a mobile phone number).

there are a couple of options for making the exchange.

buyer and seller can meet and exchange textbook and payment. We recommend meeting during the day on campus or at a local coffee shop. Exchanging mobile phone numbers makes it much easier, and so does being on time.
